Well, it does have lots of RPG parts to it. Leveling up, quests, catching monsters, creating new weapons.

I look at it as a hybrid. lol

I do have a shrink wrapped copy of Harvest moon Boy and girl (for PSP) that I will get to sometime this century.

If you don't, I will buy it from you. It's one I ended up missing. lol

Megaten - Some of the best RPGs in recent history. Nocturne, Persona 3 FES, Persona 4, and DDS 1 & 2 are all awesome games with a totally different atmostphere than any other game series and very interesting and unique characters.
Final Fantasy - Some of the best RPGs of all time but they have gone downhill in recent years.

It's because the majority doesn't know better. Had FF held up throughout all of its "career" I'd be a part of that majority...

I agree, while FF games are generally above average they are not the best. They are however the most easily recognizable brand so most people have played them. There are 7 game series' on the list that I haven't played either. I think the only one's I don't have are mother/earthbound and pokemon but a lot of people seem to really love them. .
