Forums - Gaming - Vision of hell: If my videogames systems acted like fanboys.

I own the 360, PS3, and Wii, and have a decent selection of games for them (most on the 360).  They seem to peacefully coexist fine.  The Wii might feel a bit lonely as it is on the other side of my TV in my office area, while the PS3 and 360 are on the other side, elevated. I am thankful that the systems get alone fine, and are all hooked up ok.  The PS3 owns the HDMI input, while the others go into a switch box thing.

Anyhow, I have read this forum enough.  I have seen the fanboy rantings.  All I can say is I am thankful my systems don't act like fanboys.  Could you imagine what it would be like if they did?

1. They would NEVER shut up.  I would hear inane rantings on and on.  Odds are the Wii would hurl one of the Wiimotes over the monitor (Boom Blox style) and look to knock over the PS3.

2. The games on the bookshelf would likely be a nasty mess.  I am sure most would get knocked on the ground.  The games would also be yelling at each other.  If I did try to play a Wii game, I would get mocked by the PS3 and 360 being called a "casual" gamer.

3. The PS3 would try to put a towel around the vents of the 360 to cause it to overheat and get a RROD.

4. The Wii would suddenly start to print money, to remind me that it is leading in sales.  This would not seem like Hell, but I am sure the money would be counterfeit.

5. There would be an epic battle between my PS2 and XBox games also.  The boxes with those games would likely be all over the floor.

6. I would be forced to killfilter everything, resulting in myself not being able to play any games.

This would be utter hell.  All I can say is I am glad that my systems coexist peacefully.  And the same with my PSP and DSi (I have two models of the PSP, and a DS and a DSi).  However, I am suspect that maybe one of the PSPs is a reason why I can't seem to find Age of Empires on the DS.  I am not sure where it went.  I am sure others here have their own idea what this kind of Hell would be like.

Oh damn, my Wii would probabaly be dead. In one bookcase, I've got the Wii and all my PS1/2/3 games.

"And yet, I've realized that maybe living a "decent" life means you won't ever have a "good" life."

If my games could act like the fanboys I see on these forums I would actually give up on gaming altogether.

Fanboys tend to ruin topics for me. They ruin games, hell, they just ruin everything they come into contact with.

Not to mention my Wii would accuse me of the "Wii bias" because I like my PS360 games more.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

lmao the counterfit money bit got me

My Wii would run the house, and PS3 would clam it's just a Bluray player.

Ask stefl1504 for a sig, even if you don't need one.

My PS3 would do nothing but complain and claim I hated Sony because I only have two PS3 controllers, one of which doesn't have rumble, while I have 4 360 controllers, and 5 Wiimote/Nunchuks.

My 360 would probably try to put down my PS3 on the basis that I spend more time using it as a Blu-Ray player and Media center. Then it would have a horrible moral dilemma as it tries to refuse to work on my Sony HDTVs, and considers sabotaging them, until it realizes it would be hooked up to a Phillips TV in that event.

I think my Wiis would just end up gloating and trying to start flamewars with the other systems in the house, as there are two of them, I have more Wii games than PS3 or 360 and play my Wii the most. Then complain I hate Nintendo as I still have a DS Phat, but have a Slim PSP.

Now his Wii is going to think he hates Nintendo because it was accidently called a 360. The 360's going to lecture him on why the Wii should never be elevated to it's status by accidently calling it a 360.

Fixed.  So much for me thinking I could list the systems in alphabetical order.

Mine would remind me it is also a BluRay player.  It would complain I didn't bother to act upon the offer for 5 free BluRay movies awhile ago.  I would tell it to STFU, because I don't normally watch too many movies on home systems.
