So sad to see the superior PC version delayed. Hopefully for X360 owners their version will only get little to none downgrades in general gameplay quality.

Well, guys like you would just pirate it so I'm glad that they don't release it on PC to all the thieves.

Actually I would download it myself lol, but I prefer it's X360 only even though I have to pay $60 for it then.

Well it's confimred that everything shown for Alan Wake since 2005 is running on 360. That means this, even better Remedy confirmed this is all game engine and not one single piece of CGI. This trailer is entirely 360:

What on earth makes you think it's the superior version? PC doesn't have the best version alll the time just sometimes. BTW everything shown so far on Alan Wake has been proven to be running off X360 so it likely will look just as good maybe a few enhancements for high end graphic cards but the game looks awesome already. Maybe you should stop being traitor to your fellow X360 gamers and bring that X360 back into your home. real gamers play games not consoles/pc/handheld.

How our favorite systems are just like humans and sometimes have issues finding their special someone...

Xbox 360 wants to KinectPS3 wants to Move!  Why are both systems having such relationship problems?  The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.

I did'nt think it would work with an open world so i am glad. The graphics are stunning, best 360 graphics yet.

PC as the best versions 99% of the times, that's a fact. And when Alan Wake comes to PC it's not just the better graphics, but also modding and better controls that make the difference, especially the modding.

Is good for me that the 360 version already looks perfect, I don't need "extra-mega-super-ultra perfect" because I am not going to a fashion show, I am going to play videogame. I don't know if the demo bellow is for the PC but can you see any difference (graphically speaking)?

That's for the PC. Demoed on a quad core Intel CPU and I believe it was with two Nvidia 7800GTX GPUs... so a lot stronger hardware than the X360.

I dont think the X360 version will look that great, because what you just showed us is still probably the most impressive thing graphically I've seen to date even if it was in Sep 2006. The scale and how he zooms out and pans over the fantastic looking landscapes is amazing.

Sandbox is brilliant, if made right
But even in a good game it can become boring fast (Far Cry 2)

So they've decided to go the easy path and I think that was a good idea.

Somebody else actually found Far Cry 2 boring, wow I thought I was alone. Good game, sure, it just didn't keep my interest for very long and I think it being open world may have hurt it rather than help it.

farcry 2 was terrible

Nice Troll post...

Here is an update on the matter that is almost equally as vague:

Remedy answers Alan Wake PC concerns

Alan Wake

Remedy Games has attempted to answer concerns about Alan Wake on the PC, though their response is sure to fuel further speculation.

Yesterday we questioned whether Remedy's psychological action thriller Alan Wake would still be coming to PCs after a lengthy silence over this platform's connection to the game.

Now being published by Microsoft Games Studios, many PC gamers were unsure whether the company would hold back the PC release in order to bolster the Xbox 360's exclusive games offering.

Markus of Remedy Games has responded to concerned gamers on the official Alan Wake community forum:

"Hey all, I'm a PC gamer at heart (have a Core i7, Radeon 4890, 5.1 audio setup at home) so I do appreciate your concerns.

"Unfortunately all I can say at this point is that we're focusing all our efforts on the 360 version and will be making comments in regards to the PC at a later in time."

That doesn't sound too promising, with a timed exclusive period for the Xbox 360 version being very likely.
