Japan doesnt care for Western games, I thought you people knew about that. GST has nothing that appeals to Japanese, and the cartoony look will scare most of the people. It's not even doing well in the USA, so it's hard to call it a bomb.

I don't think anyone ever expects western games to sell well in Japan. GST was no exception.

They didn't even ship 10,000 copies.

That's what I'm saying, 300k additional M+ were sold on top of the 360k ones that came bundled with WSR.

Miku's popularity in Japan is still strong it seems (it would be surprising if it didn't sell)

And WSR might be the reason for GST's sales as well as this being a Western game.

Plenty of Western games do just fine in Japan. GTA4, Fallout 3, Killzone 2... Using that as an excuse for GST's failure is laughable. More likely it failed because it is YET ANOTHER sports game in a sea of competition.
