This is essentially the same intention (but worded far nicer) as Bobby Kotick's thread to stop supporting Sony: Please cut price kthxbai!

At least these guys aren't threatening to stop supporting Sony, not only that they also point out they aren't fully aware about the costs but at the same time also remembered their manners and not act like a bunch of bullies.

^^ Difference in culture and personality. Japanese are generally less confrontational and assertive. ^_^

I'm gonna go ahead and assume that's not the case here...

Sony cant afford a price cut. and plus sony needs at least 100 dollar price cut.
50 dollars wont do it for the PS3. when they do cut the price it it might be 2 late.
and MS will drop the price agian for the 360.

^^ Actually is, he's trying to get a statement out to Sony but is being ultra polite about it:

Example:

American: This sushi sucks. learn how to cook or I won't come here again!

Japanese: This sushi is good, but could be better if you boil the rice longer, and make sure the salmon is more fresh and us less wasabi -not that I am telling you how to cook your sushi! I have no-way of knowing how difficult it is for you to make this culinary masterpiece but we would certainly welcome the improvement!

Maybe that's why I like the Japanese better...

It has its good and its bad :) At least I know if I've pissed the American off. The Japanese would likely take it all in and hold a lifelong vendetta against me for lost of honour.

But enough with stereotyping lol.

That's much better. He's doesn't come out with threats or tough talk. The way he states it you can see his side of things as well and it doesn't annoy you.
