I will not buy the psp go because i want a physical support. Downloading games is not funny at all. I love to open the box game, insert it into the console and then back in place when finishing gaming, next to my other games!

me too. digital distribution is bullshit

besides the 3000 looks beautiful and stylish and the psp go seems very ugly.

I think this is a good sign as retailers are not bending over for Sony. Hopefully other retails in other markets follow the lead. The PSP go DD scheme is not that good, there are no deals on newer games like on steam. Not only that, they make money on the games and they would lose that.

I Love France.

Hey.. now that I think about it.. maybe the high price of the psp go is not because of Sony wanting to make a lot of profit but that a larger part of the 250 euro's go to the retailer then on a PSP 3000 cause they won't make any money on software..

That's been fairly obvious from the beginning.

From what I hear from our District Manager, GameStop Corporate has been in battle with Sony over the UMD-less PSP for quite some time.  Patapon 2 being sold at retail via download voucher is a result of that battle.

Sony's caught between a rock and a hard place with the prices of both the PSP Go and the ps3.

Deservedly so. They created these messes and are the only ppl to blame for the PS3 and the upcoming PSP GO failure

i don't get it.

microsoft its going to digital distribution too, but i don't see people or retailers whining because of it.
the 360 will be digital like burnout paradise, warhawk and many ps3 games did on the ps3.

but it's only wrong when sony does it? WTF.

its not like they won't get the sell, they can sell code to download the game.
but i think why they crying it's because they want to resell used copies for fullprice and pay 2-5$ for them.

This.

Seriously people, SONY isn't forcing you to get the PSPGo.... the PSP3000 option isn't going anywhere... games will come on disc and PSN....

Well, MS still sells 360 games at retailers, the vast majority of them. The difference here is that all the psp go games are DD. Retailers would prolly be mad at PC games with the amount of games on steam and the deals there, etc, but they cannot really go out and say "we are not gonna sell PCs"

Correct. PSP3000 is still being sold by the retailers in france. But you right, Sony is not forcing the retailers to get the psp go.

Those horrible Sony bastards.  They should just leave the hardware business.

Honestly, could you troll any worse?  Don't do it again.
