Is it irony to mention that it happened to me while viewing this thread? *grumbles*

Thought it was just happening to me.

Tag - "No trolling on my watch!"

one good thing- these ads have showed me there are a dozen MMOs out there that i've never heard of

I agree the ads should help the site. But should we have to put up with ads that break the page, cover it with menus, and make the text unreadable. I'm not using the fastast computer, either, so it's worse here. I don't see why they can't just put the ads on the side where you see them and ignore them.

I have chrome (not using it atm), does anyone know an adblock program for it?

i know its annoying

The worst part about the ads are that they don't pop up instantly after loading a page. It seems to wait until you're scrolling down reading when it decides to show up. If they're going to have these annoying ass ads, have them pop up occasionally right after you click an article link. It's still annoying, but at least it's out of the way so it doesn't randomly pop up when you're in the middle of something. And seriously, VGChartz, not to sound rude or anything, but this isn't a very fair way you're treating your members with these. Please read this thread and use the suggestions. Thank you.

I doesn't break my browser but it pisses me off since I always use the quick reply window and end up clicking on the add all the time.

Currently playing on PS3: God of War III

Currently playing on Xbox360: Final Fantasy XIII

Currently playing on NDS: Chrono Trigger

I get the ad, but it doesn't break the page.

Vista, Opera 10B.

And it appears as though there's an even more annoying one now- one saying something about exclusive content. It force-scrolled me to the top of the page, opened a few times (so that just clicking back wouldn't work), and had no close command. That ad just needs to die- NOW.
