Sorry, I thought we were talking about the size of the levels, story wise, Halo 1 pwns.

I've always loved Halo 1 more then 2 and 3. Its simply better, imo. Especially Halo Custom Edition, with all the guns and maps.

Halo 1 does have the best SP. Not just out of the Halo series but probably out of any FPS. It does have a larger scale than the sequels but more backtracking.

The levels were def longer and bigger. Which made them insanely fun to play. I probably enjoyed it more than the others. I can say that Multiplayer got better in each one though. Single player not so much ha.

The first one for me is the first person shooter of all time on PC though.

That is the point. The story is great. The levels are just so much larger and epic than the other two. I felt way more immersed. Halo 2 and 3's levels just seemed so much choppier and small in comparison. And yes, I also agree that the library level was a little repetitive; but that was the exception to the norm for Halo 1.

1 Was epic in everyway 2, was endless fun online, 3 is terrible.

I never played on but i like 2 more than 3.

I just like killing elites. Not playing as them, or playing with them as your allies

The single player was by far the best in halo 1. But halo 3 has the best multiplayer.
