That is the point. The story is great. The levels are just so much larger and epic than the other two. I felt way more immersed. Halo 2 and 3's levels just seemed so much choppier and small in comparison. And yes, I also agree that the library level was a little repetitive; but that was the exception to the norm for Halo 1.
