Eh? I don't see any number getting multiplied by 3.5...

X360 Halo week - 74K

X360 Previous week - 40K

And for UK - 35K / 17K

Are you smoking drugs as usual when reading vgchartz numbers Diomedes?

The PSP still sells strong ,and the PS3 is probably selling better than 32k weekly.

In any case this is the heyday of the 360 with Halo 3 ,from now on its on the decline.

I also have to wonder what's going to happen when Sony releases that new SKU...I'd be really surprised if PS3 sales didn't at least double everywhere for at LEAST a week, that's what they did last time, and that would about tie it up with the 360...and that's without any really good games out yet, going into the period when all the awesome ones are coming out....

I think Diomedes should change his nickname to "TheComplainer"... I mean, he complains about everything, both things which are real and things which aren't...

The purpose of dropping the price is not getting a boost for one week, it's to gain momentum. Even if PS3 sales increase ten times for a week, and then go back to normal, it means the price drop is a failure.

I'm not saying this will happen, just saying that the week after the price drop doesn't matter much.

ioi should create a Diomedes filter... just a simple script that reads this:

"360 is overtracked. PS3 is undertracked. I live in Spain and no one likes Xbox here. The rest of Europe is the same because I am omnipotent".

It would save us all a lot of trouble reading his posts and trying to rebut.

Honestly its about where I was expecting it to be, probably a bit higher but not by more than 5k. I think the US x360 numbers for this week are going to be a bit higher than I thought initially but we shall see.

All in all very solid numbers, and easily the biggest hardware boost as a result of a game. But I don't think its worth a "Whoa!!". Most people should have been expecting this I would hope.
