Given the ineptitude of the city government, I wouldn't be surprised if that lamp post was still bent today.

It could be worse. In the past year my city has had two streetlamps (that are about three times the size of that one) rust completly thru to the point of just falling over. One car was crushed and one storefront wrecked

Wow, some really awesome pics in this thread. Good stuff.

My hometown: Summerville SC

I'm currently in Portsmouth, NH.

(usually hang out right there when I go hittin' the bars)

Aaaaaaand here's Boston, which is a home away from home so to speak:

had some VERY fun times down there :)

That's crazy, I live in Summerville and used to live in Boston (well, right outside of it)!

Currently Playing:  Saints Row 2 | Battlefield 2 | Company of Heroes

Recently Beaten: Gears of War | Super Mario Galaxy | Darwinia | MGS4 | Sam and Max Ep. 4, Portal | Mirror's Edge | Uncharted | Mass Effect

Syracuse NY and surrounding area (where I live)

State Fair in Syracuse

Sycause Univsersity

Niagara Mohawk Building - This is a really cool building and they used to keep it lit up all the time. I'm not sure if they do any more due to costs. They also change the colors every once in a while as it has been all white, all green, all red, multicolored and all sorts of stuff.

Clinton NY (where we got married and where my Wife used to live)

From MyWedding

Here is the village green which is right by the church.

And Mt. Ephriam NJ (across from Philladelphia, so the photo I have is from PA), where I head 4-5 times every year because I have family down there.
