I'd prefer to use button controls to be perfectly honest. I have both of these games for the Gamecube, and the controls are surprisingly precise. Deflection of shots requires pretty accurate timing, and with the amount of required force-usage in the games, I think my left arm would be ready to fall off from shaking the nunchuk after the first level.

There's buttons on the remote, of course.  I'm sure there will be an option to use them. 

Neat, it's a nifty new option.

I too would hope that buttons could be used in place of the waggle, but only because more options are definitely an improvement over no options. 

I think it looks fun as hell and I'll probably be giving this one a try.
