The Neo Geo Aes was at the release about 650 Dollar (It was way more expensive then the PS3 especially if you consider the inflation) and I know the games were really expensive because I was stunned after seeing an ad of a Games Shop and the Games were even more expensive then the most Videogamesystems) The Cartridges of Neo Geo had massive capacity compared to other Cartridges like SNES or even the N64. The Cartridges were up to 716 Mbit. And thats why the Price was 200-300 Dollar per Game. And the Neo Geo 64 had even bigger Cartridges at an even higher Price. The Cartridges were not only a storage device they were part of the Hardware (If I remember correctly, I was a young boy at the time) they had implemented Chips etc.

Neo Geo was so damn expensive.

Interesting video.

However more than 50% of that i would not classify as video game console (home or handheld). Most were clearly designed to be computer's not video game consoles.

Also, the 'D-Pad' clearly came out on Nintendo Game and Watch way before anything else. (Unless I missed something).

A mate of mine had one of those fairchild things.... the controllers!!!! I was so jealous!

I owned a Fairchild, the "Channel F". Funny, when Sony had their E3 conference with wand motion controllers, it made me think of that controller. Looked better than it worked though. I remember playing Castle Wolfenstein on an Apple 2E, before it was first person and just called Wolfenstein. I can't believe how many Pong styled consoles Coleco put out. I had the triangle one, and the one with the tank controls, and the bare bones Pong one as well.

The Atari 2600 was so much better than these early consoles; I can't even describe the feeling you got the first time you played on an NES. It's obvious the impact it had, SMB, Metroid, Final Fantasy, & Zelda were like crack before crack even existed! Even games like Punch Out still have huge relevance today.

BAM! There it is!

Wii Code 3456 7941 4060 2924
COD MW Reflex 541192229709

Wow that was great seeing all those consoles, even though some were as has been said more computer fare than just gaming machines, Great job!

I was gonna say how the hell was there over 400 game consoles in the video, but then i realized they pretty much included every single model, brand, redesign or variation of every system that came out... for example, there were multiple 3DO's... 2 made by Panasonic, another by Goldstar, and one more if I remember correctly.

Hell, just including every single variation of the GB is enough to fill about a quarter of the list lol.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

I remember watching this video a long time ago, and it's worth to watch again just to listen to the awesome music! This guy knows the best, it's insane.

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...
