well, played the demo (PC)

it is running a bit less fluid that L4D to me (perhaps a light technical upgrade of the game making my "average" PC suffer)

it is quite similar to L4D
it is not anymore dark (at least this campaign) but it is not a problem
I stil dont know very well hte new infected but they seem quite different
the TANK has a LOT OF HP
lot of new weapon

conclusion : if you like L4D, you should like it

personnal conclusion : I like L4D but I m not that much in this game anymore
it is like after some time it is getting boring that is why I doubt I will get the "2" ...

Yup, this game is pretty much amazing. Pretty much everything is improved over L4D1.

I can't take my paws off Call of Duty MW2, but I know when I get Left 4 Dead 2 thats going to be the only real game to drag me away for quite some time most likely.

I loved the first one. I still gotta get those 54k zombie kills and beat expert on all camapgins (post glitch) from what I'm reading I may not even do that with all the L4D2 improvements.

The only thing I didn't care for were the new characters. Bill, Zoey, Louis and "I hate everything" Francis seems really hard to replace.

I know this game is based on multiplayer gameplay, but I can't find anywhere where it says whether or not it has splitscreen, anybody know if it does?

I'm assuming it does. The first one did, so I don't see any reason why they would take it out.

Yeah I played this with my neice the other day, split screen.
