They support red & blue enough to host them for free on XBLM. It's free publicity. IMO, the Legendary Pack is just a fancy word for Halo Idiot Tax (HIT for short), because only idiots would by that garbage. I hate Halo in general, but atleast Bungie is making the POS fans pay for their 'loyalty'

Why all the hate? Like someody is making people buy it. Most of you guys would probably happily pay $200 for some stupid Zelda special edition with a super special plastic sword for little baby kids, judging by the amount of Nintendo fanboys around here.

Major difference being nintendo wouldn't release a "Game" with specials for 200$. They might release a collections edition but I don't think I've ever seen them throw it in with the game, it's usually purchased individually. They do have a Zelda sword/Shield 1/6 scale replica(very nicely done actually) but I believe it only cost 35 or 25$ and came with a music CD it didn't come with a game and double the price.

weep about what? A special edition costing 130 bucks? Thats not the standard one. Sounds like a valid price for all that.

yeah, weep about what? it's called price discrimination. it's a good move on microsoft's part. i actually don't understand why publishers don't do it more often for the stellar franchises. why charge the fanatic $60 when you can charge them $130? learn your high freshman economics.

Man I'm gonna give a big FU to Bungie. Pulling this kind of sh**. 99 Isn't cheap to begin with, you can get collectors editions of PC games for 70 bucks usually. They dissapointed with Halo 2, so personally, as a consumer, I'm not going to put up with such nonsense. I bet they won't even sell the regular game for 60 bucks, bet they up the price. Freaking bast***

Like a demand curve? (You see when you charge more the demand goes down, thus there is usually a price equilibrium that is optimal, and I don't think 130 bucks is it. At that price they will move less units, at a lower price they would probably move many more offsetting the money they would lose at a lower price)

Just read the news and I want to know 2 things: 1) Will the HD content come in an HD-DVD or will they just use a DL DVD? (in other way: how many Halo fans are ready to buy the HD-DVD player "just" for this legendary edition??) 2) How many copies is Microsoft going to ship? Because with the LE of Halo 2, it wasn't that limited
