Forums - Sony - What would you want to see in the next Little Big Planet

While there haven't been any announcements made, I am sure at some point there will be a sequel for the Ps3 featuring our favorite sack people.

Personally I would love to see more interaction between the different planes since they are pretty static at this point. I would also like to see the game handle fluids (water or whatever). I could also see the potential to have a gravity setting that can be messed with.

Ooo and magnets. I am sure that could make for some interesting levels.

What things would you like to see integrated into the levels and the design kit for the next LBP?

Yes I am a fan of the Playstation 3, but I am an even bigger fan of intelligent and rational dialog. (If you are up for an intelligent exchange of ideas, you are more than welcome to add me as a friend)

i would like rubber bands, ALOT of weapons (cute weapons) waterguns and such... Under water levels woud be koo

Real bad guys, perhaps weapons and powerup suits ala SMB3

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

True 3D environments, otherwise everything else can just be DLC.

The stuff that's in the OP... There's not much missing from the first game.

More interesting enemy design. Maybe a bit faster and more mobile. Prettier to look at.

Non reality earth based locales.I would like it to take place in fairy tales, myths and Sony video games all as hilarious ironic parody.

Add elemental effects to the paintinator for power ups. Could create some interesting puzzles.

Abandon the lives keep the checkpoints

More co-op play puzzles.

I was thinking that in order to keep the game evolutionary, they could take the 2D on horizontal and vertical + 3 layers in depth and make possible 2D on horizontal + depth and 3 levels on vertical, keeping the sidescrolling, but spining the level as necesarry. Maybe. I don't know.

Change gravity option? Or maybe it's already there?

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Reduce the floatiness, and add the option to control your sackboy's movement with the D-pad, the way a 2D platformer should be controlled. I wouldn't mind losing the lives aswell. The editor is okay for the most part, but I'd like to be able to zoom in and out no matter what tool I have selected.

"Now, a fun game should always be easy to understand - you should be able to take one look at it and know what you have to do straight away. It should be so well constructed that you can tell at a glance what your goal is and, even if you don’t succeed, you’ll blame yourself rather than the game. Moreover, the people standing around watching the game have also got to be able to enjoy it." - Shiggy
