I played lots of their games in the SNES and N64: Killer Instinct, Donkey Kong Country, Goldeneye 007, Jet Force Gemini, Perfect Dark...

They should have stayed with Nintendo, they made pretty damn good games when working for them.

To be honest I think MS has kept Rare were they are on purpose....And what they have done more MS has been at the forefront of the Xbox Brand.

I know it's wishful thinking but Imagine that Rare will shock everyone with Perfect Dark 2....

But since they are busy developing for NATAL it is my guess Rare will have the Killer App NATAL needs

<_<   >_>

Nitendo was smart to share there stocks yes. But only because Microsoft bought the Stamper Brothers shares(which were 51%) before Nitendo sold their 49%.

Rare was tired of all the crap that nitendo was pulling.(like cancelling dinosaur planet)

MS spent over 300 million to buy them....Some one sold them...And with the sucsess of their work with the Xbox brand it was well worth it....But I too patiently wait for Rare to come back to limelight...I can't help but feel that they will have one of the biggest games on Xbox360 come 2013.....

This has got to be a joke. I don't know the developer for most of my games. I don't really care either. Yet, I still know who Rare is, and I know a lot of the work they have done. In my mind, Rare is one of the best known developers.

as far as i am concerned , all the critics are morons for the way they have scored and reviewed rare's games on the 360. all of them i have enjoyed very much and would recommend them to any fellow gamer, wanting a very good game with breaking new and interesting ground, something alot of companies dont do anymore. i really like rare alot more now , then i ever have before and so do all of my friends. i always have since their 1st game on the 360, will continue to support their gaming passion. this rare is alor better than the past rare, i think. :)

MADNESS!

Signature goes here!

problem is that the products they make are completly out of touch with the current industry, irrespective of quality.

Really?..So in retrospect..they were ahead of their time with FPS games?

/Fail

As a Microsoft fan, i believe that Rare should be returned to Nintendo for Microsoft never should of taken them.

Wrong. Nintendo was tired of Rare. Of their lack of cimmitment, not keeping deadlines and lack of talent.

Therefore, they decidedto sell... IP's, names, because the main team wasn't there anymore...
