Forums - Nintendo - What 3rd party game to buy next?

I am getting both once they are released in the west. Those are high up on my wanted list. I am really just looking for a game to tide me over until some of the games coming out this summer finally drop.

Namely:

Wii Sports Resort, Little King's Story, Muramasa, Fragile, Red Steel 2, Cursed Mountain, Silent Hill, plus the other good summer games.

I say Deadly Creatures or Ghostbuster, i found Madworld tedious and repetetive less than half-way through. Okami would be a great game if it weren't for the fact that paintbrush controlls were broken

Well, I got The Conduit mostly because of silentmac's grudge match(jk), the fact its got decent ratings except for story and in some reviews, what HD gamers consider wonky controls (pffft.) and the fact that supporting High Voltage can be a crucial step in realizing future potential on Wii.

Thanks for all the help...

I'm not sure where you read that. Even Kotaku praised The Conduit for its controls.

GamePro and 1up would be where. GamePro praised controls at the same time as condemning them, so it was pretty incoherent, and the reviewer at 1up complained that customization was only necessary because the wiimote was so poorly suited to FPS controls. Apparently mouse and keyboard has been crap for FPS for a decade now!

Hmm, I have Okami already and it was odd but I didn't find the paintbrush mechanic broken at all. Since that day I found it extremely hard to listen to any game reviewer that mentions controls are badly implemented on Wii... the key it seemed was to be slightly quicker with the brush strokes...

Yeah, I am a mouse and keyboard person myself. I can't fathom using dual analog, and the wii setup in prime 3 was much better than any dual analog setup can ever hope to achieve. It urks me to no end that I am not able to shut up dual analog control users by playing them with a mouse and keyboard. I wish one day that CounterstrikeSource or CoD 6 or some major fps has battles available between console users and mouse and keyboard users so I can finally prove to dual analog whores that the setup was archaic since the day it was conceived.
