Forums - Nintendo - The Grinder probably not using Pay 2 Play system

“I think the answer to that is most likely not [Pay 2 Play]. Because the Wii servers let players play online for free, The Grinder will take advantage of that. Once you purchase the game you’re free to play online with your friends as much as you like, for as long as you like.” - Matt Corso, The Grinder art director

Would you pay to play The Grinder for a better online service without friend codes? What you think about a better online service on Wii (what exactly is missing)? What you expect from the multiplayer on The Grinder?

I already am reluctant to pay for XBL.... why would anyone pay for only one game (besides MMO :op)

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO

Probably not. What would be better? Allow more users in a game? Allow servers to handle NAT NAT clients to avoid most of the connecting problems?

I would not pay for one games online however good it was.

Free or no dice for me, my money is better spent elsewhere than on pay 2 play subscriptions

Pay to Play is only used for DLC, is it not?

No. Monster Hunter 3 (and G) in Japan uses Pay 2 Play to online.

i would pay if they would relese free maps every now and then(like 1 new map every month). if MH3 wouldn't use friendcodes or would allow to make ingame friend lists and capcom would constantly release dlc as new quests, weapons, items it would be ok to me for reasonable price.
