i was geting excited for this game after the OP told how fun it is. Yesterday came out the IGN's review:

"Closing Comments
Water Warfare is definitely aimed at younger and family gamers, but that works in its favor and fills a gap in the Wii's library. Sometimes casual games suffer from a lack of quality, but that isn't the case here. This is a full-featured first-person shooter that is fun as both a single- and multiplayer game. It doesn't do anything new in terms of gameplay, but its kid-friendly premise makes it unique. Water Warfare is recommended for kids and families that game together.

Another Take

Too often you see a second opinion from an editor whose viewpoint is redundant -- an echo of the critique in the initial review. To heck with that, I say! I therefore submit this vigorous rebuttal to Daemon's review of Water Warfare. While he clearly believes this is a pretty good kids' first-person shooter, I think it's a laughably bad, dated, shoddily executed FPS and that its many shortcomings shouldn't be overlooked because of its target demographic. I mean, you can give a dog turd to a monkey and the poor thing might just eat it, but that doesn't change the fact that it's a dog turd. All you need is a quick whiff of Water Warfare's archaic control setup (slow, unresponsive), its ancient graphics (blurry, sluggish) and it all-too basic level designs (point, shoot, run, repeat) and you'll find yourself involuntarily wincing at the foul flavor of it all. I was certain the game was 500 Wii Points, and even that would be overpriced. At 800, it's offensive.

So if you feel like you might align with my opinion, feel free to drop another two points off the final score."

IGN Ratings for Water Warfare (Wii"
RatingDescription
out of 10
7.5 Presentation
An impressive feature set for a downloadable game. A kid-friendly FPS fills a gap in the Wii library.
5.0 Graphics
Ancient. Characters and environments lack detail and animation isn't great.
7.0 Sound
Lighthearted videogame tunes. Some of the sound effects are a little cheap, though.
7.0 Gameplay
Solid, if well-worn, FPS mechanics. There is lots to do in both single- and multiplayer modes.
7.5 Lasting Appeal
40 single-player missions and extensive online possibilities.
6.9
Passable

OVERALL
(out of 10 / not an average)

So before i get this game (i can only do that friday), can you tell me how the graphics make the experience of playing it worse? Cause sometimes they make. But this is a wiiware title, is this even worst graphically than the other wiiware games (at this price)?
Hope i wont get disapointed by this, Hudson as treated me well lately (oh Bomberman blast)...

The graphics are not amazing, but it doesn't slow the game down at all.  It is definitely a kid friendly game, but I am 29 years old, and I love it.  The graphic are not horrible to other wiiware games, but compared to lets say "Killzone 2" yes they're bad.  This game has a ton of stuff in it, and it is 8 dollars!  Get it, it is worth 8 bucks I promise you that

Around the Network

maybe IGN compared the graphics to their loved The Conduit...

I'll definetly try it out then. trusting you on that.

Then i'll pm you with my friend conde

out of those 13 wiiware titles you have, do you have world of goo and toki tori?

Does it matter?  I have played World of Goo on my PC, and have no interest in Toki Tori.  World of Goo is a great game, but on my wii I have had more fun with Water Warfare than any other wiiware game.  I have Good games too...

Megaman 9
FFCC: MLAAK
Lostwinds
Bit Trip Beat
Swords and Soldiers
Bubble Bobble Plus

Water Warfare (TO ME) is more fun!!!  Especially if you have online

Yes it does! Just trying to see wha you're comparing it to, it says a lot.

That is still an impressive library of wiiware games. Water Warfare has to be really good.
