I predict way more than 300K lifetime sales. WaW Wii only did 45k week one in NA, and it's at about 1.18 million (are WaW sales still being updated?). The difference here is that The Conduit will be old news by Christmas and won't get the boost that WaW Wii got.
Edit: Great sig.
100k in 1 week, 200k in 1 month most likely, 500k in 3 months.. 1 million by end of year. Well this is really good opening and i saw it coming.Thats why I loled hard at journalists comparing madworld to the conduit.HVS loled at them too.And this shows.
About waw vs tc..mmm while WAW had Xmass, Conduit has the teen factor and the exclusivity of being wii only.
2nd week sales will be interesting. If the conduit does make it around 100k It will be interesting to see how week 2 and 3 do. This game could have some great legs.

I wouldn't be suprised if the Conduit pushed closer to 200K in its first week of sales. This not even being the global release, just wait till the Conduit launches in Europe, Asia and the rest of the global market. I think a million is a more then reasonable outcome for the first year on shelves. The Conduit stands alone as an online shooter for Wii nothing else comes close to it in comparison. Then the Conduit is almost alone on the Wii as an origional shooter.
All the hardcore gamers out their (What evers left of us) are going to buy or at least rent the Conduit. I suspect its sales will be pretty high. I'd say The Conduit will probubly rival first party titles success and the likes of Red Steel in life long sales. With no new shooters scheduled to debut on Wii this fall, the Conduit should also find success this Christmas.
My bet is 1 million in sales this fiscal year and up to 2 million in sales during the lifespan of the Wii!

Yup. Unless someone announces something new for next year, it has no new competition until The Grinder comes out. Ubisoft is crazy for not making Red Steel 2 have an online mode. They could just dump WM+ and even swords for the online mode...

Yup, I totally agree with your figures there. It might even do more than 2m perhaps..?

Anythings possible. But the notion given in the preliminary figures saying lifetime sales of 300K is way to modest and irrational. If The Conduit does sell 100K in the launch week how is 300K rational for lifetime sales. The Conduit will beat out WaW it has too, WaW was on the 360/PS3 as well and all the gamers who had 360's/PS3's bought it on those platforms.
My bet is The Conduit will beat out WaW. I bet about 400-500K launch month across America/Europe. Then theirs going to be the launches across Asia assuming the Conduit sees a global release. I think 1-mill is a very rational estimate for launch year (Fiscal year not litteral year) and two mill more then reasonable for lifetime sales.
I think it could beat two million in lifetime sales maybe even 3 mill. But I think that 2 mill is a more rational figure. I'm guessing it will do similiar to RedSteel and WaW if not a bit better!
