@Shadowblind

Yes sir. It was canned due to developement or licensing issues and Microsoft decided to pull the plug. It was really far in development so to speak.

Then yeah, its very possible...right after it had been cancelled, Level-5 spoke about how they really hoped it would someday be finished and released. If Microsoft holds the rights and trademarks for the game, its a very real possibility that is one of the MMOs they have in development.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

I hope so, cause I was looking forward to the title. Plus at the time it would of been the first console MMO ever other than Everquest on the PS2 and Final Fantasy XI that actually took advantage of the Xbox hardware and Xbox Live.

The cel-shaded look and knowing Level-5 was backing development had me hyped alone. I remember checking this development video out a long time ago and here it is:

Neat game and idead just hope Microsoft can resurface this title or bring some type of JRPG MMO in the mix with True Fantasy Live Online ideas!

Oh damn...a cell shaded MMO...

I'm a sucker for Cell-shaded games. I haven't played much Level-5 games before, but the graphical style looks fantastic. I really do hope it does come out, albeit maybe with a different name for the sake of sales.

I would say I want a Tales Online game, but Tales of Eternia online flopped so had it made Namco's head spin.

Dude if I'm not mistaken the green text color is awesome. Are you a 360 user? lol

And oh hell yes a Tales online game would be awesome but I highly doubt Namco would want to take it that far. I mean they have been successful with the Wii and 360 adaptions but I would love to see a new MMO from them using the Tales name, but I highly doubt again to see that actually happen.

Level-5 is hard at work on White Knight Chronicles though, I hope they can come to some agreement with Microsoft to contiune development on True Fantasy Live Online or even a new JRPG MMO!

Thanks ^_^ I actually switched to the light green after the VGChartz 2.0 was released because my original blue font was very hard to read on the new board.

Oh man if Namco even SPOKE about a Tales of Vesperia MMO I would flip. But yeah, its more then likely not going to happen...and I ca't blame them for not wanting to make it since there is so much stiff competition for MMOs  these days.

Oh you never know. Since WKC is completely, as far as most of the code goes, complete with the game(they are currently localizing it) I wouldn't put more then one project simultaniously past them. Best part? If its in house, then the MMO will probably be free-to-play after purchase, since the normal LIVE fees would act as subscriptions.

if TRUE FANTASY ONLINE ever came out on the 360, i would get it on day 1 for sure. would give me 2 mmorpg's to play on my 360. :)

MS MMO seem to constantly get canceled. I won't be surprised these will too.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

with all third party cancellations.

sometimes it better to have it own first party.

SOE have 4, FF14 online, agency, DC online and free realms.

so it require some muscle to pulll some before gen end

I think a Halo or Fable MMORPG would be sweet!
