Come on, there is no reasons for all of the name calling, unfortunately COKTOE it just seems like you didnt do the correct steps for the trophy, its no reason to blame the PS3. If anything blame Sucker Punch.

i know how bad this is, and i (hardly) accept your decision.
(fact: of course someone has fun on the playthrough, but with the goal to obtain the trophy..^^)
As a Gamer, you can sell your console of course. A Gamer is an intensive Videogames player, and not bound to any Console. BUT ask yourself one question- what sounds better to you, as a gamer?:"a game pissed me of. So i sold my Console." or "i beat the game multiple times, on any difficulty. Okay, i didnt obtain the trophy i wanted, but i made it. And if i gain enough motivation later, i will play the game again and then laugh of any idiot who´s proud about himself just because he played it on hard once."



I'm a Foreigner, and as such, i am grateful for everyone pointing out any mistakes in my english posted above - only this way i'll be able to improve. thank you!

Well, that's what you get for wasting your life on a virtual trophy.  You can't just be happy that you finished the game?  No... you gotta get some 2D sprite of a trophy that doesn't mean a damn thing...  I don't mind them.. But, I perfer to just come accross them.  If I unlock it without trying, I'm happy, but, I won't go out of my way just to do it..

Thank god Kojima knows of the foolishness behind the trophy system and didn't put it in mgs4.  It's completely pointless, and it just a way to get people to waste their lives instead of doing something useful.  I'm satisfied just knowing I beat the game, I don't need a trophy for killing 700 people in MGS4... who cares, really.

Back in the day, skill was the only trophy you ever needed...

Your supposed to just start a new game on whatever difficulty it defaults too, play through the game until the game gives you a message and upgrades you to Hard on it's own. then finish the game for the trophy.

Changing the game to hard manually does not give you this trophy.


I switched mine to hard as soon as I started my second playthrough and still got the Hard Finish trophy.

Edit: Okay nevermind. So the game has to deem you worthy to play on hard.
