No, the thread is hilarious and right at the same time.

By Feb 2008 we didn't know about Wii Motion Plus and yet the OP said that the wiimote only wasn't capable of 1:1 tracking.
And no one of us dreamed about that since Nintendo announced wm+ and confirmed that the wiimote wasn't what we expected in the beggining.

But well the responses of the skeptical people are hilarious by their own and mainly because OP was right!!!!!!!
