Now what NVidia card would this be equivalent to?

I need some time to waste during the week when the baby is sleeping and want to play a little Fallout 3 on my laptop.

My laptop can run UT3 with this laptop with all setting at their lowest and screensize at 70%.

So you think it can manage Fallout 3 with minimum settings? I heard it isn't very demanding.

My RAM is 4GB and CPU is a AMD Turion64 X2 (2.2GHZ I believe).

I suspect you're out of luck playing Fallout 3 on it. Its not really up to playing Oblivion and Fallout 3 is made with similar requirements.

Your chipset isn't listed, but if you can roughly place it in the chart, you can get at least an approximate answer...

How very upsetting.

If setup doesn't prevent installation, maybe you could still be able to run it with quality and effects lower than typically expected from Oblivion an Fallout 3, but significantly higher than Morrowind.

I'm still going to give it a try either way.

Even if it looks like crap, at least it will give me something to do in my spare time.

Fallout 3 minimum is 6800 as well.

Your GPU is on the slow side for the task, but you have twice as much RAM as the minimum required to run it on Vista and four times the minimum to run it on XP, and also almost twice the minimum CPU power, as an old Turion64 X2 @2.2GHz is roughly equivalent to an Athlon64 X2 4400+.

You can run Fallout 3. Likely cannot run it WELL, but you can run it nonetheless.
