Yeah, it will be released with their fall update.

And BTW, there is no way in hell I would pay for avatar items either, just posted the picture to show that they will have more than clothing items for avatars in the future.

I would - it depends on what it is. I would pay for an RC plane or an RC car that you can drive into someone's house and blow stuff up.

Seriously, they should expand the avatar stuff - and yeah, I'd like to unlock stuff via achievements.

People in this thread may not pay, but a lot of people will (Just ask Second Life, and Home). Hell I'd pay for a sports team jersey for my avatar if it was .50 or so. $3 for a RC Warthog? Probably not. However the most important things is there will be unlockable items from games, which most people pass over, and there will probably be more generic cloths put up for free.

I'd pay $3 for a Ru Hyabusa outfit for my avatar, or some MJOLNIR armour.

I would like for my avatar to have a chainsaw from Gears of War

That would be really sweet, especially if you could unlock different Halo armours for your avatar.

I don't see how paying for avatar items is all that different from paying for gamerpics or themes. I won't be buying, though.
