I can't read the numbers right there (blocked on my proxy), but even if it's 94k vs 118k, that's 'roughly the same', especially considering the huge price point difference.

360 should sell a lot more to consider it a victory. Barely outselling a competitor which costs so much more is certainly not a huge success.

As overall sales get lower, the gap will get smaller.

At the end of the day, the 360 is on track to outsell the PS3 by 9 million this september. Anything you say to try and put that down to "bad" ... well is just ridiculous.

There really is no arguing with someone who was forced to put Lips in his signature of exclusive xbox 360 games so he could fill the post width and feel like a big boy. There is absolutely no reasoning with someone like seece, his blind patrionism for the 360 makes basically any post he makes pointless.

And anything you say that doesn't take in consideration the FACT that the PS3 costs a lot more is at least as ridiculous.

PS3 sold better than 360 before the price cut, and the gap was going to zero, so really there's nothing to boast about sales for the 360 right now, especially since PS3 could have its price cut any day and instantly go back on top, crushing the 360 in sales like they did before.
