Yes it is true, I can't play certain playlists when in matchmaking. I have downloaded (and redownloaded) all the map packs, I have also updated the game everytime it asked me to. Anytime I try to go into one of the following, I get the "one or more players does not have the maps required to play in this playlist. Why can't I play these playlists?

Team Slayer

Team Doubles

Social

Rumble Pit

Team DLC

Multi Team

Social Big Team

Action Sack

Hardcore

Team Swat

Team Snipers

Dounleexpweekend

Team Flag

Try clearing the cache. I can't remember how to do it, but you can google it.

You have the mythic maps as well?

Sounds like your with a friend who has not got the maps. Make sure you download Cold Storage map for free also.

Also note to VGcharts remove that add thats fucks up your screen. I'm sure users who have IE7 no which one im talking about. I had to edit this twice.

Sometimes it takes the game a while to load the maps so it will say one or more players do not have the maps. To fix this go into custom games and try to change the map to one of the dlc ones. It will say loading on the screen and after its done go back into matchmaking and the message should be gone. You could also just sit in the playlist and the message should eventually go away once the game has loaded the maps off the hdd.

Finaly you could go to bungie.net and they should have a troubleshooting section that should help you with your problems.

And if none of that works then call 1-800-my-xbox and ask to talk to an agent and tell them your problem. They should be able to fix it.

Yes, I have all the DLC. I tried re-downloading all the map packs, I cleared the cache, I even tried the old trick of going into custom games and letting all the maps load. Nothing worked.
