JRPG,WRPG who the fuck cares??? all i no is im getting an amazing game this fall and thats all there is too it. As for the reviews, well judging from wat the import and european reviews have stated, i think this has a very good chance of scoring a 9.0 dispite the difficulty

In an MMO you target things and do a certain amount of damage per second -- MMOs never feel action-based because they have to account for huge amounts of lag. Demon's Souls is definitely action based. You dodge in real time, nothing tracks you or is impossible to avoid.

Anyway, I'm going to shut up about it, since I'm annoying people :)

MM updated the Original Post with more movies! You guys should watch the second one, it shows you what real gameplay is like, rather than just running through a level you've already beaten.

MMO = Massive Multiplayer Online. It has nothing to do with what happens it just means that there are a massive amounts of players.

 

This is a MMO... Sure it pulls it off in a strange way, but since so many people are connected even if vaguely.. it's a mmo. Regardless of gameplay.

That's actually a good point.  Though you could easily play the entire game offline.  But once you're online, there are a lot of things happening, like they say in the videos.  Ah well, one point for you, Staude :)

I love this game. I'm currently on new game ++ with one character and was on new game +++ with another until my file got corrupted. This game is amazing and I'm glad it's coming stateside. A lot of ps3 gamers are going to enjoy playing this game.
