It feels like we have been waiting forever for this next step, and it seems like a natural evolution from motion sensing technology that has moved to the forefront with the Wii. The main problem as I understood it, was the bulkiness of the helmet in previous iterations. We're now in an age where everything is small and light-weight. How could this not be the next logical step? I'm sure there would need to be more processing power to handle the 3-D, but I don't think that would be a problem.
