no more heroes went to the top aswell, look how that tunred out.

With it being the top-selling game for the company and it doing well enough for a sequel?

Around the Network

^ my thoughts exactly. not stellar, but quite good.

Incidentally, it's at #3 today.

My local gamestop only got 4 copies of the game. 2 were gone for pre orders and I bought the 3rd copy on the day after release. So I understand and agree with the guy that selling out stock doesn't mean anything considering the low volume of copies out there. They didn't even get the game into stores on time. Release day was great for everyone but Conduit customers. We had the luck to have to wait another whole day for our purchase.

Game is AWESOME though. I've had a blast playing the game. It's not halo but Halo wasn't ever that good in my opinion. Best FPS in my opinion were the Turok games on the N64. Those were awesome games. It would have been incredible if there was online back then too for those games.

Consoles owned: NES, N64, PS1, GC, PS2, Wii.

a week Prior to release the conduit was the #5 preordered game for gamestop/ebgames-all formats.

3 pc games
halo and one other i cannot remember were higher on preorders by sales rank.

gamestop was the only place to get the special edition
gamestop is backordered.
amazon.com -supposedly- ran out of it's first shipment/preorders, that one was also fairly high on the order list all formats.

the questions are:

how many preorders were there?
how many did gamestop ORDER?
how many did gamestop ship to their stores

i do know that my local best buy got in ~20 copies or more, so i personally- expect that the first shipment was in the ~200k range for the us all stores combined maybe more maybe less and expect the first week's sales to be somewhere in the 100k range and that the game- which has good word of mouth from Wii owners- to have decent legs
