ok, so I'm pretty bored of all my current games, and since pretty much all the anticipated/AAA games are coming out this holiday season, I need something to fill the gap until then

I'm open to any suggestions, but the game must be a ps3 game (unless it's REALLY amazing, then it can be a ps2 game) and shouldn't be too new as new games cost like $80 after taxes here in Canada

I was thinking Ratchet and Clank FTOD since it's greatest hits now, but will it last me like 2 months? I doubt it...

Hmm, I would go for Oblivion.

Game that'll last you that long, my first thought is Disgaea 3. If you really get into that game you could definitely spend months on it.

If you aren't into SRPG's then a good idea might be LBP, and you can just troll through the user created levels and make your own.

If you can get into multiplayer than Killzone 2 might be able to last you that long.

Oblivion seems interesting, but apparently it's the same game as Fallout 3 (which I already have) except with swords instead of guns and fantasy instead of apocalypse/nuclear wasteland

as for Disgaea 3, I've never heard of it, but I'll look into it

No, Ratchet and Clank won't last 2 months. Even if you play newgame+ and try to upgrade all the weapons, it won't take 2 months. It's a good game though, and should be a Greatest Hits (at least it is in the US). $30 new.

If you liked Fallout 3, maybe you should try Oblivion. It should last a long time, and is also $30 new.

Other good choices might be Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection ($40) and Disgaea 3 ($55).

You might also want to check out Saint's Row 2 ($40). It's like a goofy version of GTA3 from videos I've seen. I actually haven't played my copy yet.

All those prices are from BestBuy.ca so you might be able to find them cheaper at other stores or find good deals. Really, it depends on what kind of game you are looking for.

-Uncharted...though that took me 2 days to beat.
-Resistance 1...but you probably already have it.
-LittleBigPlanet...but I personally got bored of it after a month or so.
-Burnout Paradise.
-Midnight Club: LA....very good game imo, I'd recommend it.
-GTA4....(obviously, but you prob already have)
-And yeah Ratchet and Clank like you said, but yeah won't last long.
-Far Cry 2...might last you 2 months, depends how well you like it.
-Socom: Confrontation...good game despite the bad reviews.
-Rainbow 6 Vegas 2...maybe.
-Resistance 2 if you don't already have it.
-Oblivion can definitely last 2 months if you don't get bored.

But yeah just a few games that i think are great, I'm probably missing some. I find that games that are open world gameplay (GTA4, Far Cry 2) and have online too usually last the longest, hope I helped!
