Left 4 Dead I guess, Alan Wake will be the best survivorl horror/thriller this gen though

I guess it could be called a survival horror, but like RE5 I don't view the game as horror in anyway. Its really hard to classify L4D due to its pretty unique nature actually...

Nothing really stand out so far for me with regards to this genre except Deadspace which I thought was well executed.

Alan Wake and Heavy Rain both look like very promising contenders though

edit: come to think of it, this is as good a classification for L4D as any, it certainly gets my blood pumping to hear the witch's crying or the grunting of an awaiting tank in hard mode!

Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition...

mostly becasue its the only current gen one Iv played

don't have one that I'd consider the best, dead space was ok, shattered mem and ju-on might change my mind though, I don't scare easy when I have ways to fight back, but if I'm not given that option, then blah, it might just get me.

I actually don't play Horror Games, too scary.

Siren: Blood Curse. I loved the atmosphere.
