What do you think the fail rates are for the 3 main consoles?  And tell your reasoning.

I personally think the Wii is sitting at around 1%--you hardly hear about Wii's dying anywhere, wether it be the news or otherwise.

the PS3 is between 2-4%--Yellow Lights of Death has been on the news lately, and 60gb PS3's are always dying it seems.

and the 360 is between 6-8%--Since the new chipsets arrived you don't hear about 360's dying as much as they used to.

wii .5 - 1.5%
ps3 3 - 5%
xbox 360 7- 10%

wii - 3% ive read about afew break downs with disc drives and basic hardware failure
PS3 - 8/10% YLOD is becoming a big problem
360 -15/20% RROD isnt quite gone yet and now these that error E74 thing

I agree. Although the PS3 is closer to 2 than 4%.

XBOX360 1 in 3 Yes thats right I've heard it being as high as 33%

I'd say your estimations are pretty reasonable. If I was to make a change I'd maybe change the 360% range to 8-10%.

Wii - 1%
PS3 - 2%
X360 - 14%

Wii is 100% fail due to teh wagglez
PS3 is 100% fail due to needing two jobs to buy one
X360 is 100% fail due to RRoD

No no the yellow lights of death are not called death for no reason.  And trust me the 360 has high rates but 33% is not true anymore.

In case you didn't know i'm talking current not when each console came out...
