If a code has been activated (used by me), can it still be used by another person? Is it locked to one PSN account or is it like a CD-Key where if i were to give it away i cant connect if the key is already in use?

Well I have only useda beta key once, which was Killzone 2 and I am pretty sure that it is locked to the one account.
