So, in other words, Conviction does NOT run off the UE2 engine, and in fact, is at least 2 steps removed from UE2.5, and indeed never ran off the UE2 engine, and in fact, actually runs off a modified and enhanced version of a different engine, and in actuality runs off an engine that only has vague ancestory to the actual UE2 engine, despite the sensationalist headline.
Yes, that paragraph is redundant on purpose.
Also, the implication of the headline, that Conviction might have old style graphics since it is running off an antiquated engine, is obviously completely false, as we all saw at E3, and in fact, Conviction had some of the best visuals at that show.
Conviction uses the LEAD engine, not the UE2 engine, and this thread should be locked for dishonesty and flamebait.
