That sure was fast.

Cross Edge came out in 2007.

In America?

No. I'm talking about the Japanese version since this is the announcement of a Japanese port of Cross Edge for 360.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,

The sales and reviews for this game are atrocious. If they would have squeezed it down as a download for XBLA and PSN it would have been a mega hit!

I can't wait to see all 8 of those Japanese people who are going to buy this.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

Are you talking about X Edge? Because Cross Edge and X Edge are two different games.

No, they're not. I think you're mistaking it for X-Blades. X Edge IS Cross Edge

X-edge/Cross-edge came out in Japan in 2007, 2009 in US
X-edge Dash/Cross-edge Dash in Japan 2009

This is a huge win for the Xbox 360 ecosystem. With Cross Edge and Magna Carta 2, the Xbox 360 will surely win a lot of niche JRPG gamers' heart. As the support from JRPG gamers continue to rise for the Xbox 360, Square-Enix will undoubtably be compelled to make Versus XIII for the Xbox 360.

This isn't a direct port, it's an enhanced version.

・Cross Edge Dash (360/RPG/Oct 1st/ 7140 yen)
- Enhanced port of PS3 version. Besides the additional of the coliseum, there will be other additional elements, such as new event CGs

Not even you believe what you're typing. Though, I admit you made me laugh, +1 for you

Doing a port from the PS3 to the 360 can be hideously easy, and Cross Edge isn't exactly a technical marvel. There's a fair chance it all runs on the PPU, and all the port will need is a rebuilt DevStudio project, and a reworking of the (likely simplistic) GPU shaders it uses, along with a few low level SDK items, like the input system, and some assorted OS stuff.

Not every game taxes the PS3 (or 360), and actually requires serious effort, and expense, to port. Unless you're Activision/Blizzard, I mean.

I have feeling that this game won't be released outside of japan. From the footage I've seen on the PS3, the Game looks alright.
