It seems to be a level from the single player of Warhawk.
It could be a new level for downloadable content in the future.

Looks interesting. They should release that as DL content, with the cool floating turrets and all.

Also, did anybody else notice a distinct MGS sound at ~54 second in?

Still loads fine for me. It's an old GameSpot gameplay video just uploaded to youtube so I'm sure you could find the original on GS if you looked hard enough. Probably not worth the effort, though. :P

I heard the sound. Classic, all the way back to Metal Gear on NES.

Embedded for the lazy folk.

No prob.

OT: I think it would be pretty cool to offer downloadable content like map packs for Warhawk. I've heard nothing but good things about this game. I think they should offer game options, too, like maybe bots and missions for some co-op play.

My first thought was "seems a little early for people to be forgetting about certain levels..."

But yeah, the large gunships expose it as being from the single player campaign. As for why it wasn't included. My guess is that the level just didn't lend itself to very good multi play.

That would make a great dogfight map, but ground combat would not work there.
