I was quite suprised with the review and  totally agreegamespot will give it a lower score, most likely a 8. It will be heavily be concentrated over the control schemes and probably the layout of the single player mode as usual.

Still, its a good effort to bring a fps to the wii and hopefully it will give room to developers to realize the potential of the wii having fps's use the wiimote and the controller device.

I remember that MP3 review SHMUP mentioned. The reviewer never found where to set controls to advanced. I wonder if their Conduit review will also completely fail to find the options... which are the defining characteristic of the game.

The Conduit will get Gamespot's favorite number for all games... 6.0. I'm surprised they even specialize in video games since they seem to despise every game that comes along. They don't pay any attention to a games strong points at all and over dramatize the negs. The Conduit doesn't push any boundaries, mix things up or provide any radically different experience found in such acclaimed shooters like Call of Duty and Halo, they are going to hate it.

Trying to please Gamespot is like cheering up a depressed old man...

Well, considering the Wii page is sponsored by ... the Conduit ... we might see higher scores than expected.

GS gets on my nerves sometimes

IGN's Gameplay score says the game is as run and gun as you get(review withstanding). I would assume this would effect their decision, if you aren't simply acting like "oh the world is against us we're the victim". I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. I can see the Conduit being well rated.

I do not trust GS. I trust IGN to give them a fair score. I think they will bash the game for resembling too much to GoldenEye.

I'm already content with the reviews TC has been getting.

I'm just putting the spotlight on GS right now (or I was last night) because if you are the biggest sourceof game coverage in the world, why the heck don't you have the Wii's "all 3rd party support depends on this" game up for some recognition. I had to look in a corner of the screen to see.

I just have the feeling that this game will get smashed by them, that's all. That "Wii against the world" mentality wasn't in my mind here.
