Forums - Microsoft - Rocket Riot (XBLA) - Amazing!

It isn't often I praise an Xbox Live game but I feel Rocket Riot deserves it,

The problem is this....

Microsoft forgot (or decided not) to include it on their weekly game release post/email so not many people even know it's out, the developers are a very small company (think world of goo numbers), the game was originally made for mobile phones then converted to XNA then onto Xbox Live,

Have you played it? what do you think? how fun is the multiplayer! if you haven't tried it yet download the demo from xbox marketplace or check their website (see my signature), such an addictive game!

Game Information:

Rocket Riot is an action-packed side-view shooter featuring a bazooka-wielding jetpack soldier. With a highly stylized 8-bit era feel, players blast their way through the environment against enemies or multiplayer foes online. Navigating through a completely destructible environment, players can uncover special power ups or even burrow into different areas of the map.

Features

  • Engage in 80 single player missions, set in many different themes and zany worlds.
  • A fully featured multiplayer Riot with 4 multiplayer modes against up to 8 players on Xbox Live or up to 4 players on a single screen. Team based CTF has never been so explosive!
  • Fly through continuously regenerating maps that keep the action fast-paced – but time doesn’t heal all wounds.

If you like it please buy it (800ms points) to give some support to this very talented small developer!

Thanks

It's very unique, very 8bit looking, pixels everywhere, they explode all over the place, really is a cool game :)

Downloading the trial later I think ... looks fun

from the trail I got that the game looks good, and has repetitive gameplay.
