Batteries are pretty easy to get online, for something like $5.
I still prefer the PS2/3 controllers, to me they are more comfortable. It's likely just a matter of being used to them.

My IQ level just dropped a hundred points with YWC's first post, and then, just when I though I could recover BRAINS FUCKING RAN OUT OF MY NOSE!
Ok, with what little sanity I have left, WAY back when, I held a PS2 controller once....and never picked up another controller until the xbox "s" controller came out. As far as I am concerned, the 360 controller is the best. When I buy a PS3 I will be getting an adapter so I can use my 360 controller on it, that is how repulsive I personally find the PS controllers to be.

I agree with that. However, I fixed mine, tore open my controller and cut a slit inbetween all the contact points. It works the way it is supposed to!
I know the official ones are like 55 bucks, then you have to pop that thing open, kind of a hassle really, for the unlucky.

you can find cheap batteries online for like 5-10 bucks, it's just a pain in the ass and I don't know why they made it that way.

I'll be damned if I ever pay for XBL again, I'll stick to PSN or Wii or PC for online gaming.
