It never had ''hype''. Killzone 2 had hype, Halo 3 had hype etc.

Anyway hype is dangerous, you'll see soon enough.

I think the hype in question was people trying to say it looked better then KZ2 and proved that 360 exclusives could do better graphics then PS3 exclusives.

Think i heard someone saying that around the chartz to.

I know exactly who it was but I'm not going to blow up their spot. Here's a hint: they looove Forza 3 and they think GT5 will be shit.

I enjoyed Lost Planet 1, but I'm not exactly dying for the sequel.

Also it looks great visually, but that's the kind of thing that gives PS3 owners a chub.

OT - I remember the game being hailed as the graphics benchmark for the year. Was it shown at E3? I think it was, and I don't think it got much recoginition for visuals there. To be honest, I'm much happier that a game like Muramasa got its due recognition.

Regardless, I wasn't a fan of the first and will likely be skipping on this one.

Lost Planet 2: Extremer Conditions....looking good. Hype is a double bladed sword...if it's not controlled properly...can be hazardous to the wielder.

I am not looking into this game when its now multiplat.

Because the quality of the game will be low when it multiplat to ps3
