@cheebe - it showed more than enough gameplay to make educated prediction of where it is in development...and plus Nintendo doesn't show games unless its close to being finished so them showing it showed mean its should come in less a year or less...and your absolutely right about Zelda Wii ^_^

Spring 2010 to compete against God of War III.

@ Xxain - Haha, yeah, well, I wouldn't call it 'close to being finished' if the release date is 2010. :p Nintendo's statement about releasing info on games only a few months before they're actually released obviuosly doesn't apply to all their games. Still, I fully expect this game to make it to store shelves in 2010, just not before the holiday season. Ah, but that's just IMHO.

Man I wish they'd just reveal games a week or so before they're released, that way we wouldn't have to put up with these agonizing waits. :p
Also, I think they should at least quadruple their console-Zelda-development teams, and hand over the development of the handheld Zeldas to 3rd parties, like they did with the Oracle and Minish Cap games. That paid off well, and that way we'll get to enjoy at least 1 Zelda title a year, and probably more. =)

Was it just me or was the guy completely wrong about Samus' leg clipping through the enemy? What the heck was he talking about, her knee was bent and was completely normal looking to me.? Did I miss something?

Truthfully, I really think that Nintendo's going to spread out their "core" releases a bit to keep people talking about the Wii in groups such as ours. Holiday 09 is NSMBWii, and March 2010 sounds about right for MoM. I personally think they would like to be able to move up MoM to the holiday season, but they're erring on the side of it not being ready. They didn't say much of anything about S&P2 at E3, which leaves me to think it'll be the summer 2010 game. Later, not wanting to release the 2 Mario games too close together, SMG2 will become the holiday 2010 game. Very little is known about the Zelda game, so while I think they'd like to also aim for a holiday 2010 release for it, I think it'll make March 2011, and be a big showing at next year's E3...
