Except 3,4,5, and 6 were great, 1 was decent, and 2 was awful.

What are you talking about? :P i know alot about them from PS2 and above, with still alot of PS1 Knowledge, and i've never heard of this series. :D

No you're showing that you know little to nothing about JRPGs.

Suikoden is a great franchise that has had 2 games on PS1 and 3 games on PS2. 4 of them are great. Suikoden 4 sucks though.

You haven't even played all the PS1 FFs.

4 is not as bad as the internet makes it out to be, true its the worst one, but its still a pretty solid game.

I agree, it's a decent game, it's still a big disappointment, but not as bad as everyone thinks. And Snowe is still one of the best characters in the series

Do we even know the budget for this game overall? Yeah the US got English voice acting but it was nothing special. I don't think it would have costed Konami a lot of cash to make this game. We also got to factor in It's $35 here and has held that price for some time so the 30k of those copies is at a slightly higher price tag. Combined with Japan sales I'm sure Konami thinks this is a decent success and probably made a small profit off of the project.

Now as for a console version? That and Persona will still be the only two reasons I would get a PS3, so I'm hoping for Wii or 360 version obviously.

Seriously, a Suikoden 6 would be nice. Suikoden 1 and Suikoden 2 were great, definitely amongst the best RPG's. Suikoden 3, didn't play it. As well as Suikoden 4. Played Suikoden 5 and figured out it was ok-ish.

They should look back at 1 and 2 and make the 6th one based on them.

Well if they did that then they are not very good fans. The first rule of pirating games is NEVER pirate a game in a series you like, especially if its a struggling series.
