The Japanese launch for GT5 will be late November 09 and FFXIII will be mid to late December.  Boosting PS3 sales to close to or over 5 million units in Japan when Versus XIII launches sometime in the Summer or Fall of 2010 moving another 500,000 to 1 million PS3s in Japan in its turn.

GT PSP was in the works way before GT5. All of this nonsense.It is going to be GT4 graphics with newer cars. WOW!

Just because the level of visuals are the same as GT4, they still had to make a psp engine, all 800 cars for the psp, the tracks and everything else.

 

It could be fucking pixel graphics and your point would still fail.

5, LOL, you have no idea how much of a racing/motorsports/F1/Rally/BTCC/WTCC fan I am, if you did you wouldn't have just said what you did, my passion for the sport greatly reflects my passion in the type of racing/driving sim games I play....

Forza probably won't sell 100,000 copies in Japan while GT5 will probably sell a million or more there.

From what we saw at E3 for GT5 I would say not this year. But more may be shown at the TGS I hope.

GT PSP is graphically GT4 with more cars. Actually, it's been in the works since before GT4 was released. Good ol' Polyphony and their cockiness...pushing back games because they can.

The only Sony owners that will be playing a new racing game this year will be PSP owners. I have GT5 preordered and I still don't expect it to come out this year.

I trust Gamespot for dates more than Play.com, and they say TBA 2009. This means the game is supposed to come out in 2009, but they aren't sure when. I know Polyphony made the game; Expect it to come out in 2010. Also, GT PSP is supposed to come out to boost the PSP's sales against the Nintendo DS. Sony and Polyphony alike will not release GT5 in GT PSP's time frame and destroy potential PSP sales. Polyphony already admitted GT5 could've been released already, so that means they are holding the game for more development (probably because of E3) or they dont want to release the game near GT PSP. Take your pick.
