Does anyone know if a Japanese PSP slim will work on an American PS3?

So will the setup be in japanese (since the psp slim is japanese) or in english (since the ps3 is in english)?

The psp slim is in english. You can change the language the psp is using. It really doesnt matter what psp you use.
