What exactly does Uncharted 2 have to do with the 360 being maxed out?

It's infamous8...he's not posted for 11 days now. I was wondering why the forum seemed so much nicer.

I also remember him eating about the largest batch of Crow I've ever seen anybody eat with one of his threads stating that MGS would NEVER be on the 360. A day before E3 mind you. Anyway, this directly relates to the thread since it is asking people to eat crow. 

You know, I would eat crow, except nobody has served it to me...must be because I don't make asinine claims before I know for sure that they will happen. Oh well, I have BBQ sauce and some really good hotsauce here if anybody wants some!!!

I don't really follow racing games so forgive me for asking, but why does 800 cars as opposed to Forza 3 400 cars (I think that's the number right?) make it automatically better?

Do you really plan to use all 800 cars?  Also, do you know how different those 800 cars are?  Again, I'm not familiar with racing games so I'm a little ignorant here, but when they say 800 cars do they mean car x is actually car y with these wheels (or something car releated, again, I don't do cars) is different?

But I guess you are right.. I checked both the sony and MS exclusives and for everything on the ps3 the xbox 360 counters it. Except infamous, I didn't see a sandbox game in the xbox line up this year. This year is kind of a let down in terms of first party (for all consoles) for me though.

Next year is going to top 2007 though, and that's saying something.

Crow?

GT5 really doesn't excite me at all and wtf is nascar in there for? indy car is much more intense than nascar! Forza Motorsport is much more fun series to play than Gran Turismo IMO all my friends that used to be huge GT fans are now Forza fans. If that isn't saying something I don't know what will.

As for OP I never thought the X360 was maxxed out just look at PS2 or Xbox how many good games came out for them that were outstanding after the systems been around for 4-5 years or more? God of War 2 is excellent proof that developers can push systems long after they launched.

360 and PS3 are nowhere near maxed out yet.. just look at previous generations and see what developers were putting out on systems that were 4-5 years old... the DKC series/Killer Instinct on SNES, Perfect Dark/Conker's Bad Fur Day on N64, GoW 1+2 and Shadow of the Colossus on PS2, RE4 on GC... just to name a few of the games that pushed their respective hardware beyond what was believed to be their acceptable limits at the time.

It would be both funny and ironic however, if they were both currently maxed out with the next wave of games coming out, while the Wii still has plenty of room for improvement in the visuals department, especially when you see games like The Grinder, which even in its early state blows everything else on Wii out of the water and looks almost like a 1st gen 360 title.

There will likely be multiples of the same cars, but special editions that are upgraded to be like the real vehicle. There will also be the NASCAR license, so all of those cars with the advertising stickers will be in the game, plus many concept vehicles that never do anything other than get shown off at car shows. Different years of the same models will probably also make it into the game.

I just don't see what baring any of this has on Forza. PSP games are of a whole other graphical level and it's built off GT 4 which also had like 800 cars, but was a late generation game. I just don't see the point in comparing the amount of cars each is able to have. Now if GT5 can do 800 cars, then that is something to write home about. If it doesn't though, I suppose the same PS3 fans will be saying it's also not the best driving simulator and is inferior to a PSP game (yeah right).
