Really the only thing holding sony back right now is the price if they were to do this it would be a major upset.  I would give them time sell gt psp and space it out enough time to say at the end of october that by the way gt5 will be out this year for the holidays and it will be bundled with gt5.  IMO i think that would minimize losses and put them in the same position that they are now 2 systems one making a small amount of profit and one that will expand the user base at an acceptable loss, and with this imo it would be a huge momentum shift right at the holidays and the only way for m$ to counter it it would be for them to make another price cut and that would be late and not offset gt5 momentum.  This way would almost be perfect since we did not get a price cut or an announcement with a release date for gt5 at e3.  Mabey march and a price with the game would be good but it would probably just as useless as the ps2 price cut was.  If they wanted the ps2 to keep going it should have cut the price last year at tgs hopefully they don't screw up their best chance like they did with the ps2.  Here is to hopping, do you guys think that this would do it?  I'm a nube and i think this would be pretty good what do you guys think?

It wouldn't be the best thing they could have done no one will disagree that they have passed up many chances in the past to do this but in this point in time after those chances have been passed i think this is probably the best thing they can do before christmass. What do you think what else could they do that would be better that would realisticly happen

GT5 GTpsp can come out on the same day and sell as good if sold months apart.

No, the only thing that can turn things around is a time machine. MS could follow suit and drop the prices as well. The 360 sales were through the roof from the last price drop. You don't think the same will after another?

Ya but they need the hardcore to win and microsoft has that need to take as much of that back as they can and gt5 is their best since they make online universal like live so they need to do the the best they can now.
