My friend just got an Xbox 360 after owning a PS2 and playing that exclusively. He asked me what game should he buy, since I have the PS3 and 360 and a good enough library of games. I told him to buy Mass Effect first, if he wanted to start his Xbox 360 experience off with a bang. He asked me what genre the game was and I told him that it was an RPG. "RPG?", he asked. I said, "Yeah, just try it and you'll love it". He went on a rant about how he hates RPG battle systems and the games bore him. I didn't even go through the differences between some RPG's with him, but I made a bet with him that he would love the game or else he could discredit me forever. He agreed and actually raised the stakes in the bet for fifty dollars, since he was so sure he wasn't going to like it. I said "ok". So he buys the Platinum Edition version of Mass Effect and plays it at home. I call him up and ask him how he's doing, and he says "it's alright, the concept is pretty interesting". I left him alone for the night and he calls me back today and says "Dude, this game is fucking addictive! I played it and actually passed out on the couch after playing until ten in the morning." I said "sounds good....so wheres my fifty bucks?"
So what shall I spend it on?...lolz
