Could someone clarify if this game is good?

I don't care which game has the slightly better resolution, I'll be getting the PC version anyway.

First I should warn you that the PC version does not have multiplayer but it is at least on Steam.

It's getting solid reviews but I would assume you would rather have opinions from people, so here are two pretty good sources:

Penny Arcade forums (started on about page 45 because that's about when people start getting the game)

Gaf impressions

Complete playthrough of the game (he hasn't posted the last two levels as of posting this yet)

Also, this post is pretty epic.  If you've beaten the game, you know what he's talking about.  :-p

don't listed to twesterm! he worked on the game. he is biased. having said that... i loved it. buy it now

Also, this post makes me happy since it's from one of my levels and the whispers for that level were one of my favorite parts.
